Chief Operating Officer and Managing Member
Cherié has over twenty years of experience providing employment and HR solutions to her clients. Cherié graduated from Meredith College with a B.A. in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting. Cherié has been recognized as an HR Mover and Shaker and is active with the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the Jim “Catfish” Hunter Chapter of ALS, and the Women’s Business Enterprise Certification Committee. Cherié graduated from Meredith College with a BA in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting. Upon graduation, she joined First Union as a financial analyst for four years. She then worked in the non-profit field as a Regional Manager with the American Diabetes Association before entering the recruiting and Human Resources industry.
Vice President of Human Resources
Mikio Anderson started her career with HR Directions in 2006 shortly after graduating from UNC Chapel Hill with a B.A in Public Policy. She found her passion in the vast world of Human Resources and achieved multiple certifications in the field: Senior Professional in Human Resources, SHRM Senior Certified Professional, Certified Personnel Consultant, and Certified Temporary Staffing. Mikio functions as a consultant for HR Directions’ clients while overseeing all aspects of the HR Department. She strives for continuous learning in the ever-evolving HR arena, and her memberships in HR associations and the relationships with HR peers in the community support that knowledge. In her time outside of work, Mikio enjoys connecting with nature in a variety of ways such as exploring new places, hiking, kayaking, and gardening. Although she appreciates the satisfaction of cooking a good meal, the savoring of food from different cultures is where her heart lies.
Theodora is a results-focused professional with a proven track record in leading the strategic mission, facilitating strong business partnerships, and creative problem-solving. With more than 10 years in both private and nonprofit sectors, Theodora has an extensive body of human resource experience in coaching and development, talent acquisition, employee relations, and compensation and benefits.
Theodora seeks ways to reshape and redefine processes to meet the demands of industry change. In addition, she recognizes and champions a diverse workforce that promote creativity, new perspectives and invites opportunities for collaborative work environments.
Theodora holds an MPA in Human Resources from North Carolina Central University as well as B.S. in Banking and Finance from Fayetteville State University.
Chrissy began working with HR Directions in January 2019. At HR Directions, Chrissy is responsible for providing Benefit Administrator duties and responsibilities to employees by managing and directing group health insurance benefits and wellness programs. She has been in the HR industry for 15 + years with experience in Payroll and Benefits, Recruiting/Staffing and Orientation, and Client Account Management. Chrissy graduated from Meredith College with a B.A. in Communications Studies. Chrissy enjoys practicing/teaching yoga, DIY projects, and weekly beach trips in the summer.
Senior Compliance Specialist
Katy has been working with HR Directions since 2015, where she combines her passion for employment law with her drive to provide our customers with exceptional service. Katy graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Dramatic Arts and then went on to acquire her M.A. in Visual Culture: Costume Studies at New York University. She became a Certified Staffing Professional with the American Staffing Association in 2017. In her free time, Katy enjoys sewing, crafting, traveling, and performing in local theater productions.
Meredith began working with HR Directions in February of 2020 after relocating to the area. Meredith graduated from the University of Maryland receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. With her love for law and passion to work with others, she discovered that working in HR compliance was a perfect fit for her. As part of the compliance team, Meredith ensures that employment laws are upheld throughout the onboarding process for new candidates while reviewing each piece of compliance to assist in individuals starting their next step in their career. Outside of the office, she enjoys anything activity outdoors including running, hiking and kayaking and especially loves training her puppy.
